Vunani Holdings Pty Ltd (Namibia) (“Vunani Namibia”) is a majority Namibian registered firm having business interests in financial services and property development. Vunani Namibia is owned by Pyne Capital Pty Ltd (Namibia) and Vunani Capital Pty Ltd (South Africa).

Our core focus is on identifying, investing in, and optimising unlisted businesses and projects that demonstrate high potential to positively influence the Namibian economy. Through our private equity and impact investment experience, we target initiatives that create both commercial returns and long-term socio-economic value. Our team brings a specialised skill set that enables us to structure, manage, and grow these investments successfully, delivering tangible benefits for our investors while contributing to inclusive development and economic transformation.

LEADERSHIP

Elifas Luaanda

Chief Executive Officer

Elifas Luaanda is a seasoned development finance expert with academic credentials including a Bachelor of Accounting, a Postgraduate Diploma in Internal Auditing, and a Master’s in Development Finance from Stellenbosch University. He further enhanced his expertise through executive training in Infrastructure in Market Economy at Harvard University. Elifas played a foundational role in establishing Namibia’s Public Partnership Unit and has held senior management positions at the Motor Vehicle Accident Fund. He has advised numerous public institutions and private firms on investment and finance strategies, and his extensive collaboration with international development partners—such as KfW, the World Bank, EU, IFC, AFD, ALSF, and AfDB—highlights his broad influence and commitment to driving sustainable economic development.

Ethan Dube

Executive Chairman

Ethan is one of the founders of Vunani and served until recently as its chief executive officer. He has extensive corporate finance and asset management experience and, prior to establishing Vunani, worked at Standard Chartered Merchant Bank, Southern Asset Managers and Infinity Asset Management.

Lydia Muadinohamba

Business Development Officer

Lydia is an emerging aspiring Housing Urbanist with an academic credentials including a BSc(Hons) in Architecture from Coventry University, United Kingdom, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Development Finance from the Graduate School of Business, UCT. Throughout her career, Lydia has taken on various roles, including working as a project assistant for the consultancy team LaRRI in collaboration with Dr. Phillip Luehl, conducting a “feasibility study for the re-development of the Herero Mall ‘informal market'” in Namibia. She also gained experience as an Architect-in-Training at Kondjeni Nkandi Architects Inc in Windhoek, contributing to residential, commercial, and civic projects. Lydia has worked as a Property Manager for Nansunga Properties, where she oversaw the operations, maintenance, and marketing of the property portfolio. Her role involved sourcing and securing tenants, managing leases, and building strong tenant relations, underscoring her ability to bridge the technical, financial, and human dimensions of housing and property development.
